- You may be able to borrow against your existing credit cards or, if your credit score is low, we can work with you to increase it. A higher score means a higher credit limit.

- Often, friends and family can chip in with a donation or a small loan.

- You may be able to pull funds from an existing savings account.

- Many retirement plans will allow you to withdraw funds without a penalty if you are using the funds to purchase a home.

- If you are a handyman (or woman), have electrical, painting, or plumbing experience, Four Steps Home offers a solution that allows you to earn credit toward your down payment.

You never know what you have in your attic or basement that might fetch a good price.
